Hi everyone! Today, I want to share with you a delicious recipe for one of my all-time favorite desserts - Kek Pisang! I came across this recipe on a blog called Rahel Blogspot and I couldn't resist trying it out. Trust me, it's worth it! Let's get started.

Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Butter and flour a 9-inch (23cm) loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the mashed bananas.
  6. Gradually add the flour mixture to the banana mixture and mix until just combined.
  7. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the kek pisang cool in the pan for about 15 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
